What you get
Every call gets a clear recommendation
A match score tells you a call looks relevant. It doesn't tell you whether to commit two weeks to the proposal. GrantSpace gives each open call an apply, borderline or skip recommendation, and shows the reason behind it.
- Fit score
- How closely the call matches your topic and profile — semantic match plus keywords, capped by eligibility. Every point is shown, so you can check the reasoning.
- Recommendation
- A hard eligibility blocker overrides a high fit score. You find out you don't qualify before you write the proposal, not after.
- Readiness
- A separate check on whether you can realistically prepare and submit a competitive application before the deadline.
- What's missing
- Concrete steps to improve the fit — for example, "Add biomarkers to your keywords (+6 points)".

How to reach 100%
Why we built this
Most tools help you find calls. Few help you decide.
Most grant tools are search engines with a pipeline board attached. They list what exists; they don't check whether you're eligible or whether a call is worth your time. And most were built for US funding.
100%
Time lost on calls you can't win
Most tools surface grants the applicant will never qualify for, and you find out while writing the proposal. GrantSpace checks every call for hard eligibility blockers before it reaches your shortlist.
5
Scores you can't check
Most tools give you a single similarity number. GrantSpace shows each component, its weight, and what to change to raise it. You can audit the result.
7
European funding is scattered
Horizon Europe, ERC, EIC, BDNS, AEI, ISCIII, CDTI, ENISA. US-focused tools cover almost none of it. GrantSpace covers all 7 categories, refreshed daily.
How it works
Set up in about two minutes
- 01
Tell us what you work on
Fill in a profile, add a project, or paste a draft brief. The same checks apply whether you're a researcher, a startup or a Project Office.
- 02
We check every open call
EU + Spain coverage, with past-deadline calls removed. Each one gets a five-component score, an eligibility check and a recommendation.
- 03
Decide and track
The per-grant breakdown shows what to fix. Move each application through your pipeline: interested → applying → submitted → won or lost.
Pro
Check whether you're ready before you commit
Finding a relevant call is the easy part. Pro helps you decide whether it's worth the weeks.
Full eligibility check
Checks your profile against every hard requirement in the call — country, applicant type, TRL, organisation type, prior-funding limits. Blockers show up before you start writing. Reads the full call text and PDF.
Application strength
A 0–100 read on how competitive your application looks, based on your fit, the programme's selectivity, your track record and the time left before the deadline. "72/100 fit, 30/100 strength" is the kind of honesty most tools skip.
A concrete list of what to fix
Each suggestion comes with the points it adds, the exact profile field to edit, and why it matters for this call. Not "update your profile".
Deadline reminders by email
Save a grant to your pipeline and we email you at 30, 14 and 7 days out. No more deadlines lost in a closed tab.
Pipeline board with drag and drop
A visual board across five stages — interested, applying, submitted, won, lost — tracking deadlines, amounts and outcomes.

Common questions
How is this different from other grant platforms?
Most platforms are discovery databases: they tell you which grants exist. GrantSpace also checks whether you're eligible, scores how well each call fits, and tells you what to fix before you apply. It's built around European funding and works for both academia and deeptech startups.
How does the free trial work?
When you sign up you get 15 days of full PREMIUM — everything in PLUS plus AI memoria drafting, consortium, post-award ERP, de minimis and instant alerts — without entering a card. Nothing is charged when it ends: pick PLUS (€29.50/mo for the first 3 months, €59/mo after) or PREMIUM (€74.50/mo for the first 3 months, €149/mo after), VAT included. If you don’t pick, the account locks and your data is kept. Moving to PLUS with more projects than it includes deletes nothing: the extra ones become read-only.
What do I actually get for each grant?
Three things. A fit score out of 100, broken into semantic match, applicant type, deadline, country and keywords. A recommendation — apply, borderline or skip — with the reason. And a readiness check: can you realistically submit a competitive application in time. Fit answers "is this relevant", the recommendation answers "should I go for it", readiness answers "can I deliver".
Why focus on European funding?
EU funding is spread across Horizon Europe, ERC, EIC and Eurostars, and Spain adds BDNS, BOE, AEI, ISCIII, CDTI and ENISA on top. US-focused tools cover almost none of it, which leaves European researchers and deeptech founders without a good way to sort through it.
Will a re-crawl overwrite grants I've edited by hand?
No. Re-crawls only add new grants; existing rows are left untouched. Past-deadline calls are removed automatically.
How is the recommendation decided?
Fit of 50% or higher with no hard blocker (country, applicant type) → apply. Fit between 35% and 50% → borderline. Below 35%, or any hard blocker → skip. Each one shows the specific reason, for example "Not eligible — the call requires ES, your country is FR".
